Community Spin
Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
Community-owned local media
Every town deserves its own front page.
Community Spin builds friendly, moderated online gathering places for Canadian communities — owned by the people who live there, not by an algorithm far away.
Our first community
Soo Spin
Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario · soospin.com
The daily pulse of the Soo — news, events, sports, marketplace and the Coffee Break morning paper. Free for every neighbour, moderated by real people.
What a Spin community includes
The daily local feed
Stories, events, sports and notices from real neighbours — reviewed by humans, refreshed every day.
Community marketplace
A free local noticeboard for garage sales, services and work — simple, safe, neighbour to neighbour.
Neighbourhood watch
Community-watch alerts that inform without alarming, moderated before they ever go public.
Local business showcase
Affordable pages and posters for the shops, cafés and services that make a town hum.
Bring the Spin to your town
City two is being chosen now. If your community wants its own moderated local platform — with the same warmth, safety and small-business heart — we'd love to talk.
